Fitness

  • Passengers need a basic level of fitness, similar to that required for driving a car.

Clothing

  • Recommended attire: long-sleeved clothing and sport footwear; dresses are not suitable for flying.

Cameras

  • Passengers may carry their cameras at their own risk, securely attached via a lanyard. Helmet cameras are not allowed.

Motion Sickness

  • The motion of a paraglider in the air has been known to affect people susceptible to motion sickness. If you do suffer from motion sickness, it is advisable to take medication prior to your flight.

  • Avoid heavy meals 2-3 hours before flying and consider drinking a lukewarm lemonade (freshly squeezed) without sugar on the morning of the flight.

Alcohol/Drugs

  • No alcohol/drugs for eight hours before the flight. Due to the foot launching and landing techniques employed in paragliding, the passenger plays a major role in assisting the pilot to execute a successful flight. For this reason, it is important that the passenger is not affected by alcohol or other drugs. The pilot reserves the right to refuse carriage of any passenger deemed affected by alcohol or other drugs.

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase and are transferable to another person. Recipients can book by providing the buyer's details.

  • In case of bad weather on the scheduled flight day, bookings are rescheduled to the next available date.

SEQ Paragliding and its partners, management, and its staff shall under no circumstances whatsoever be liable for any injuries or loss or damage to passengers/students participating in the paragliding sport. All passengers will be required to sign a legal indemnity form prior to their flight. The package includes third-party liability insurance. Personal insurance will not be covered from the package.
